Full-stack Software Engineer - Claiming Experience

This is a hybrid role based in Kraków or Gdańsk.

Salary

• Full-time employment: 14,000–20,000 PLN gross/month
• Contractor for specific projects: 15,000–25,000 PLN net + VAT on a B2B contract

What you’ll achieve

• Build and evolve core claiming flows across frontend and backend through production.
• Work with Product, Design, and Data to identify friction, define problems, and deliver measurable improvements.
• Design and run experiments that increase submission rates, reduce confusion, and make experimentation easier and safer.
• Integrate claiming flows with document, communication, claim-processing, partner API, and internal-tooling systems.
• Modernize legacy parts of the journey to improve delivery speed and reduce risk.
• Improve reliability and observability to identify and resolve issues before they affect a traveller’s claim.
• Maintain engineering quality through reviews, testing, and pragmatic technical decisions.
• Use AI-assisted workflows when they improve speed or quality.
• Within a year, improve eligible traveller claim completion, make experimentation faster and safer, and simplify the codebase to increase delivery confidence.

What sets you apart

• 4+ years building and owning client-facing production applications where reliability, performance, and conversion matter.
• Strong skills in at least one core technology: TypeScript/React, Ruby/Rails, or Node.js; willingness to work across the stack.
• Product mindset focused on solving the right problem, not only shipping code.
• Comfort with the full lifecycle: framing, building, testing, deploying, monitoring, and iterating, supported by disciplined testing.
• Solid relational database knowledge, ideally PostgreSQL.
• Ownership mindset and ability to proactively identify important problems.
• Clear written and spoken English communication.
