• Role: Junior Backend Developer (remote-friendly)

Description

• Support the development of backend services using Kotlin and Spring Boot.
• Participate in implementing new functionalities within the Accounting Engine platform.
• Collaborate with senior developers and architects on technical solutions.
• Contribute to code reviews and software quality initiatives.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and technical discussions.
• Write and maintain automated tests.
• Learn and apply best engineering practices, including TDD and Domain-Driven Design.
• Work in an AI-assisted software development environment.

Requirements

• Commercial experience in software development (1–3 years preferred).
• Knowledge of Kotlin or strong Java experience with willingness to work in Kotlin.
• Understanding of Spring Boot fundamentals.
• Basic knowledge of REST APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
• Understanding of software engineering principles and clean code.
• Very good English and Polish.
