Description

For a strategic transformation program focused on building from scratch a modern, data-driven ecosystem for handling insurance claims and benefits. The solution combines data, automation, AI and workflow processes to set new standards in customer service in the Polish insurance market.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain solutions supporting business processes in a microservices architecture
• Create and integrate Java-based applications using Spring Boot, Kafka, and Angular and/or React, ensuring high quality, performance, and system resilience
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and business owners to implement BPMN processes
• Actively use AI tools supporting the software development process

Requirements (Must have)

• Min. 5 years of commercial Java development
• Min. 5 years with Spring/Hibernate, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud
• Min. 5 years with relational databases and SQL
• Min. 3 years working with Apache Kafka
• Knowledge of quality assurance topics and testing frameworks: unit tests (JUnit, TestNG, Spock) and integration tests (Testcontainers, WireMock)
• Knowledge of Functional Programming and Object-Oriented Programming paradigms
• Practical knowledge of application containerization
• Knowledge of process engines and BPMN notation
• Knowledge of resilience patterns and mechanisms for distributed systems
• Knowledge of Angular and experience building frontend applications
• Ability to adopt AI tools in the software development process and for application performance diagnostics
• Fluent Polish and advanced English
