Description

You will join a team responsible for implementing and developing a new fraud-detection system that is part of a larger platform supporting claims processes. The project is part of a strategic technology transformation program and aims to build a modern ecosystem for claims and benefits processing using data, automation, AI, and workflow processes.

Responsibilities

• Development and implementation of the fraud-detection system for claims handling processes
• Analyze business and technical requirements and implement them
• Design and develop new system functionalities
• Design, implement, and maintain integrations with internal and external systems
• Work with APIs, events, and integration services
• Participate in designing system solutions considering performance, security, and maintainability
• Support data migration and environment integrations
• Develop automated tests and participate in integration and system testing
• Perform code review, configuration review, and integration solution review
• Use AI and Agentic AI tools in development, analysis, testing, and documentation
• Co-create technical standards and development best practices
• Collaborate with business, architecture, integration, and testing teams
• Participate in Scrum events and work in an international project environment

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of commercial Java experience
• Very good knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Hibernate
• Good knowledge of Apache Kafka
• Minimum 5 years of experience with SQL
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and practical application experience
• Knowledge of OOP and Functional Programming paradigms
• Experience with application containerization
• Knowledge of process engines and BPMN notation
• Knowledge of resilience patterns and mechanisms for distributed systems
• Experience with unit tests and frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, or Spock
• Experience with integration tests and tools such as Testcontainers and WireMock
• Knowledge of tools for application diagnostics and performance analysis
• Ability to use AI tools in the software development process
• Ability to provide services from the territory of Poland
• Readiness for hybrid work: minimum 1 day per week in the office
