Description

In this role, you design scalable, data-intensive solutions and drive adoption of modern AI technologies within a complex banking environment. Responsibilities include eliciting functional and non-functional requirements, translating business needs into implementation specifications, and delivering data mapping, data modeling, and comprehensive solution design. You will also build near real-time data pipelines, analyze distributed datasets, and contribute to solution architecture and maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Elicit functional and non-functional requirements with stakeholders

• Collaborate with Product Owners to translate business needs into implementation specifications

• Execute data mapping, data modeling, and solution design

• Design and implement near real-time data pipelines

• Analyze complex distributed datasets with quantitative/statistical methods to diagnose issues and recommend solutions

• Contribute to solution design, application architecture, and maintainability

• Own requirements documentation (including use cases) and drive continuous quality improvement

• Work closely with developers, test engineers, and international stakeholders

• Promote analytical excellence by challenging old ways of working and driving best practices

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Analyst designing data-intensive solutions

• Solid hands-on knowledge of the banking sector

• Expertise in requirement elicitation and translating business needs into functional and non-functional specifications

• Excellent skills in SQL (MSSQL, Snowflake)

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and dbt

• Experience with AI technologies (Copilot, LLMs, agentic solutions) and ability to drive AI adoption

• Strong understanding of architectural practices: Domain-Driven Design (DDD), event-sourcing, microservices, clean code

• Experience with scalable data products and enabling users to become data-driven

• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
