Description

This intern focuses on improving SAP master data quality and governance across HUS manufacturing locations. Work includes assessing material master data accuracy and consistency, developing standardized data quality metrics, benchmarking performance across sites, analyzing results, and recommending governance and continuous improvement strategies. The role provides exposure to manufacturing operations, supply chain processes, SAP S/4HANA, data analytics, and cross-functional collaboration with measurable business impact.

  • Develop technical skills specific to the major
  • Support professional development through relationship building and learning other business areas

  • Gain knowledge of the industry as it pertains to the business location
  • Build planning and organizational skills
  • Work on robust projects and assist with process improvement
  • Manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Provide support and assistance to coworkers as appropriate

Requirements

  • Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university throughout the internship program period (May–August 2027)
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree related to the internship
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (preferred)
  • Prior internship/co-op experience in manufacturing, supply chain, operations, materials management, planning, purchasing, or process improvement (plus)
  • Familiarity with SAP, ERP systems, MRP, inventory management, purchasing, or manufacturing operations (preferred)
  • Ability to analyze processes, identify gaps and inconsistencies, document findings, and develop practical recommendations to improve data quality, planning, inventory management, and operational performance

Benefits

  • Intern compensation determined based on academic standing and expected graduation date
  • Hourly rate range: $22.50–$29.00 (annualized equivalent: $46,800–$60,320)
