Description

This position supports Land Department analytics by collaborating with teams to enable advanced model and pipeline creation, maintaining analytical solutions, and delivering insights to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Land Department employees (Division Order, Land Administration, Title, Owner Relations, Business Development, Land Acquisitions) to support Land Data Scientist efforts in advanced model and pipeline creation
  • Coordinate with internal BI/IT teams to understand and implement table and code changes
  • Coordinate with EQT “STAQ” (Delivery) team to prioritize and push changes to environments in Salesforce, Databricks, and AI pipelines
  • Explore initial and existing processes and data tables for anomalies and patterns to improve
  • Support analytics initiatives requiring advanced scripting and analytical methods
  • Maintain and support analytical solutions using SQL
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, performance, maintainability, and alignment with standards
  • Support Land Department with advanced analytical needs including and beyond standard BI reporting
  • Apply advanced statistical and analytical techniques to solve complex business problems
  • Clearly communicate insights, tradeoffs, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Generate daily and weekly reports, charts, and visualizations to communicate data insights to stakeholders and management
  • Work with Salesforce and the internal Salesforce department on recurring dataload and process initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or another closely related field
  • 3+ years of coding experience
  • Advanced SQL proficiency for implementing and optimizing analytical logic
  • Proven experience delivering solutions in a BI environment
  • Experience defining, enforcing, and reviewing shared coding standards
  • Ability to refactor and improve codebases authored by multiple contributors
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
  • Experience mentoring peers and influencing technical direction without direct authority
