Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize data models.
• Build and maintain databases, data warehouses, and data processing and storage systems.
• Create and manage ETL/ELT processes.
• Clean, transform, and process data to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with business requirements.
• Create scripts and procedures to automate processes.
• Test data quality.
• Work with analytics and business teams to understand requirements, develop suitable solutions, and deliver data in the required format and timeframe.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data infrastructure, ETL/ELT processes, database schemas, and other data-management areas.
• Collaborate with partners from other countries.
• Travel to other countries.
• Develop back-end solutions, data integrations, and APIs in Python.
• Apply proven experience in data integration and Python process orchestration.

Requirements

• Higher education in Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Ability to work with large amounts of data in an operational environment.
• Experience in data engineering for AI/ML solutions hosted on-premises or in the cloud; GCP is preferred.
• Experience in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence.
• Good knowledge of common Python libraries and frameworks, including Pandas, FastAPI, Kubeflow Pipelines, and GCP libraries.
• Good knowledge of SQL databases; NoSQL knowledge is an asset.
• Experience with Linux and the Git version-control system, including GitLab.
• English communication skills sufficient for technical documentation.
• Practical knowledge of cloud infrastructure implementation with Terraform.
