Description

You will provide program oversight in the operation and maintenance of all building automation systems to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain a total facilities systems management program for electrical, mechanical, life, and safety systems in operation
• Comply with applicable codes, regulations, governmental directives, and company safety/work directives
• Inspect systems to ensure equipment operates within design capabilities and meets client-prescribed conditions
• Oversee scope development, work request initiation, scheduling, and inspection of contractor work (proprietary work, licensed installations, upgrades, specialized systems maintenance/inspection)
• Respond quickly to emergency situations and summon assistance as needed
• Review assigned work orders; estimate time/resources and order required materials for repairs
• Perform assigned repairs plus emergency and preventive maintenance; complete required maintenance/repair records
• Complete required training satisfactorily
• Participate in programs/activities such as incident investigations, interviews, auditing, and assessment
• Report conditions that could cause accidents/injury and stop work if required
• Apply in-depth principles and techniques to solve complex assignments and provide innovative solutions
• Coach others and share in-depth knowledge; work across several job disciplines
• Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with company values; build consensus and reach agreements
• Impact a range of customer, operational, project, and service activities within and across teams
• Work within broad guidelines and policies; explain difficult or sensitive information

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience
• In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education may be considered
• Licenses or certifications as may be required by local applicable law or ordinance
• Prior shift leader or supervisory experience preferred
• Meet physical requirements: stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying 50 lbs or more
• Ability to exercise judgment based on analysis of multiple sources of information
• Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset
