Description

You will execute software solutions by designing, developing, and troubleshooting technical problems, while building secure, high-quality production code. You will review and debug code written by others, identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve operational stability, and lead vendor/internal evaluation sessions focused on probing architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability within existing systems and information architecture. You will also lead communities of practice to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent or related field plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer/Developer/Programmer Analyst/IT Consultant/Analyst or related occupation

• Five (5) years experience with full-stack development using Java, Spring Boot, Spring modules (REST, MVC, JPA, Batch)

• Five (5) years experience with front-end development using React.js or Angular

• Apply OOP principles (encapsulation, inheritance, polymorphism) and enterprise design patterns (Singleton, Factory, Observer)

• Design software architecture using microservices, monolithic, and service-oriented approaches

• Design and analyze algorithms for time and space complexity

• Manage data structures (arrays, linked lists, trees, graphs)

• Manage version control with Git (branching, merging, repository management)

• Drive software quality and stability with unit tests, integration tests, user acceptance tests, resiliency tests, and test-driven development (TDD)

• Deliver software using Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban)

• Manage CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, application resilience, and security

• Execute application lifecycle phases (design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance)

• Follow software security practices using secure coding techniques and vulnerability assessment

• Optimize software performance using profiling, benchmarking, and refactoring

• Two (2) years experience configuring cloud infrastructure using AWS and Terraform for pipeline deployments

• Two (2) years experience developing software using Python
