Join a strategic cloud transformation initiative delivered in two phases. The first phase assesses the existing Azure and Snowflake environment—cloud architecture, cybersecurity, data protection, governance, and operating processes—producing a comprehensive current-state assessment and recommendations to improve security, compliance, and platform maturity. The second phase implements the proposed improvements and supports the design and build of a secure, scalable Snowflake data platform.

Role

As an Azure & Snowflake Security Architect, you will evaluate and strengthen the organization’s cloud security posture by identifying architectural and security gaps, assessing compliance against industry best practices, and defining recommendations for the future cloud platform.

Responsibilities

• Assess the security architecture of Azure and Snowflake environments
• Review cloud security controls, identity and access management, and data protection mechanisms
• Evaluate cybersecurity, governance, and compliance capabilities against industry standards and best practices
• Identify security, architectural, and operational gaps and provide clear recommendations for improvement
• Collaborate with security teams, architects, and business stakeholders throughout the assessment process
• Produce documentation covering current-state findings, risk assessments, and target-state recommendations
• Contribute to the design of a secure, scalable, and compliant cloud architecture that will support the implementation phase

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Cloud Security, Cybersecurity, or Security Architecture
• 2+ years working with Azure security services and cloud security solutions
• Proven experience conducting enterprise security assessments, architecture reviews, and cloud security improvement initiatives
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Security
• Experience securing Snowflake environments
• Solid understanding of cloud security architecture and security best practices
• Knowledge of identity and access management, data protection, encryption, and governance
• Experience performing security assessments, risk analysis, and compliance reviews
• Familiarity with security frameworks, cloud governance, and regulatory requirements
• Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation skills
