Description

We’re looking for an Azure Systems Architect to join our team and lead the design, governance and implementation of scalable, secure and AI-ready cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.

In this role, you will define enterprise-grade architectures, covering infrastructure, networking, security, container platforms, DevOps practices and AI integration.

You will collaborate with engineering, security and product teams to establish a robust Azure foundation that enables cloud transformation, operational excellence and the adoption of AI-enabled business capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise Azure platform architecture, including landing zones, subscriptions, networking, identity, governance and workload hosting standards
• Design reusable cloud patterns for APIs, microservices, containerized workloads and serverless solutions
• Establish secure, scalable networking architectures, including hub-and-spoke topologies, private connectivity and API gateways
• Define Infrastructure as Code standards using Terraform and lead environment automation initiatives
• Drive CI/CD and DevOps standards, including security scanning and automated deployments
• Ensure observability, compliance and cost optimization practices using Azure-native tools
• Advise on integrating AI services such as Azure AI, Azure OpenAI and related components into application architectures
• Provide architectural reviews, enforce governance controls and guide project delivery toward target-state architecture
• Collaborate with product, engineering and security teams to deliver solutions aligned with enterprise principles

Requirements

• Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise Azure architectures
• Strong expertise in Azure networking, identity, security and landing zones
• Hands-on experience with AKS, container orchestration and microservices
• Solid understanding of hybrid infrastructure, connectivity and integration patterns
• Skilled in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred) and CI/CD automation
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, GitHub/Azure DevOps and automated pipelines
• Experience implementing observability solutions with Azure Monitor and Application Insights
• Understanding of cloud security, RBAC, managed identities and compliance frameworks
• Exposure to AI/Generative AI services on Azure and ability to design AI-enabled solutions
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional environments
