Description

We are looking for an Azure Systems Architect to lead the design, governance, and implementation of scalable, secure and AI-ready cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will define enterprise-grade architectures across infrastructure, networking, security, container platforms, DevOps practices, and AI integration, collaborating with engineering, security, and product teams to establish a robust Azure foundation.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise Azure platform architecture, including landing zones, subscriptions, networking, identity, governance, and workload hosting standards
• Design reusable cloud patterns for APIs, microservices, containerized workloads, and serverless solutions
• Define secure, scalable networking architectures, including hub-and-spoke topologies, private connectivity, and API gateways
• Drive Infrastructure as Code standards using Terraform and lead environment automation initiatives
• Drive CI/CD and DevOps standards, including security scanning and automated deployments
• Ensure observability, compliance, and cost optimization practices using Azure-native tools
• Advise on integrating AI services such as Azure AI and Azure OpenAI into application architectures
• Conduct architectural reviews, enforce governance controls, and guide delivery toward target-state architecture
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and security teams to deliver solutions aligned with enterprise principles

Requirements

• Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise Azure architectures
• Strong expertise in Azure networking, identity, security and landing zones
• Hands-on experience with AKS, container orchestration and microservices
• Solid understanding of hybrid infrastructure, connectivity and integration patterns
• Skilled in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred) and CI/CD automation
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, GitHub/Azure DevOps and automated pipelines
• Experience implementing observability solutions with Azure Monitor and Application Insights
• Understanding of cloud security, RBAC, managed identities and compliance frameworks
• Exposure to AI/Generative AI services on Azure and ability to design AI-enabled solutions
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional environments
