Azure Architect

Your role

As an Azure Architect, you will be responsible for designing and ensuring a comprehensive and coherent architectural vision across Business, Information, Systems, and Technology domains, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure. You will translate business needs into scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions, supporting digital transformation and innovation.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders and technical teams to align cloud architecture with business objectives, promote best practices, and drive the adoption of modern cloud and DevOps approaches.

Your tasks

  • Define and maintain end-to-end architecture aligned with business and IT strategy.
  • Design scalable, secure, and resilient Azure-based solutions.
  • Lead cloud transformation initiatives and support business change programs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Ensure consistency and integration across systems, applications, and platforms.
  • Drive adoption of cloud best practices, DevOps, and automation.
  • Develop and maintain high-level architectural models and documentation.
  • Guide development teams and provide technical leadership in solution implementation.
  • Support the design and implementation of cloud-native platforms, including containerization and Kubernetes.
  • Contribute to governance, standards, and continuous improvement of architecture processes.

Your profile

  • Experience in architecting Azure cloud solutions; AWS and/or GCP experience is nice to have.
  • Hands-on experience with core Azure cloud services.
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code, for example Terraform.
  • Experience in automation of cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of DevOps pipeline tools, for example Azure DevOps, GitLab, GitHub, and Jenkins.
  • Experience in developing, visualizing, and using high-level architectural models.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills; pragmatic approach and ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Experience in designing or architecting containerized, DevOps, cloud-native platforms, including Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
  • Strong scripting, coding, and automation skills.
  • Expert knowledge of best practices: object-oriented design, SOLID principles, CI/CD, and testing.
  • Strong software engineering background with knowledge of modern architectural patterns, including microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, Event Sourcing, and Domain-Driven Design.
  • Awareness of data technologies, for example Data Lakes, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks.
