Description

The role supports daily operations and governance of systems in the Payments domain, working closely with software engineers, product owner, business analyst, and team architect. You will analyze user stories and defects, perform technical design and analysis, and help refine new user stories by assessing technical feasibility and design.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with software engineers, the product owner, business analyst, and team architect
  • Manage daily operations and governance of systems
  • Conduct testing, technical design, and analysis of user stories and reported defects
  • Support testing through troubleshooting and defect resolution
  • Refine new user stories while assessing technical feasibility and design

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with COBOL
  • Hands-on experience with CICS
  • Hands-on experience with IBM Developer for z/OS (IDz)
  • Hands-on experience with PUMA
  • Hands-on experience with MQ
  • Hands-on experience with DB2
  • Hands-on experience with JCL
  • Hands-on experience with Git
  • Hands-on experience with Bitbucket
  • Hands-on experience with Jira
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow
  • University degree, ideally in information technology, computer science, or a closely related discipline
  • Proven ability to take ownership of senior software engineering tasks and deliver according to project plans
  • Ability to successfully complete complex tasks
  • Strong collaboration skills, including knowledge sharing and active participation in team objectives
  • Fluency in written and spoken English to collaborate effectively with colleagues in Poland and Denmark
  • Ability to mentor less experienced team members

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of the financial sector, particularly in banking platforms related to payments and accounts
  • Familiarity with microservice architecture
  • Experience in Java development
  • Experience with test automation
