Senior Java Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop server-side Java applications for FX trading systems.
• Design and build robust, scalable distributed systems in an enterprise environment.
• Participate in the entire Software Development Life Cycle, from requirements gathering and design to development, testing, and rollout.
• Provide Level 3 support for production systems.
• Improve older code bases and apply modern best practices to new projects.
• Collaborate independently and within a team to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Java server-side development.
• Proficiency in multi-threaded and asynchronous programming.
• Experience designing and building scalable distributed systems in enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of Kafka, Tibco EMS, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Understanding of reactive programming paradigms.
• Familiarity with Linux.
• Fluent English (B2+).
• Working from the Krakow office is required 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Cloud/Azure, Docker, and DevOps.
• Background in the FX domain.
