Description

You will contribute to a global release train on a common core banking product, ensuring that features developed by your team are thoroughly analyzed, specified, developed, tested, and deployed while managing dependencies. The role is designed for candidates with a growth mindset who can adapt industry best practices to the context, maintain excellent quality, and work in an agile environment while supporting the transition to new technologies without disrupting legacy system operations.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of COBOL applications within the core banking product
• Analyze and specify features to ensure they meet the needs of the release train
• Test and deploy developed features while managing dependencies
• Collaborate effectively with multicultural teams across different locations
• Adapt industry best practices to improve processes and maintain high-quality standards
• Foster an agile mindset within the team and support the transition to new technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in COBOL development
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and project methodologies such as Scrum and SAFe
• High analytical skills and ability to work autonomously
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to build and influence relationships
• Advanced level of both English and Polish
