Description

Backend-focused role in a small team (around 6 people) where you can influence architecture and resolve complex technical issues. You will develop using Java/Spring, participate in the full software development lifecycle (analysis to production) with Extreme Programming, and collaborate with business to translate requirements into working solutions. You will work with relational databases (Oracle or PostgreSQL) and gradually modernize legacy code while ensuring stability, quality, and predictability in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Influence architecture direction and the approach to technical solutions
• Deliver backend changes across the full cycle from analysis to production
• Maintain and progressively modernize legacy code
• Work with relational databases (Oracle or PostgreSQL)
• Translate business requirements into implementable solutions

Requirements

• Several years of backend experience
• Java and Spring proficiency
• Experience in full-cycle software development (analysis to production)
• Extreme Programming experience
• Experience with relational databases: Oracle or PostgreSQL
• Ability to work with legacy code and modernize it gradually
• English and Polish at least B2+
• Ready for hybrid work (4 days/week in office during onboarding, later 3 days/week)
