Digital Content Strategist

Job Description

We are looking for a Digital Content Strategist to lead the development and governance of content strategy across the client's digital platforms. This is a strategic role focused on content governance, standards, KPIs, and content lifecycle management rather than content creation or copywriting.

Your responsibilities

• Define and drive the overall content strategy, governance framework, content standards, and KPIs aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with business, marketing, and IT stakeholders to establish content structures, taxonomy, and governance within a headless CMS.
• Monitor and analyze content performance, identifying opportunities for optimization and continuous improvement.
• Manage content lifecycle processes and improve content reuse across multiple digital channels.
• Support stakeholder adoption of the headless CMS and promote best practices in content governance.
• Drive strategic initiatives to enhance digital content quality, consistency, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Content Strategy or Content Management.
• Proven experience defining content strategies, governance frameworks, content standards, and content KPIs.
• Strong knowledge of SEO, UX, and web accessibility best practices.
• Hands-on experience with headless CMS platforms, including content modeling, taxonomy, and content workflows.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and leading strategic content initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to content optimization.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing or optimizing headless CMS platforms.
• Knowledge of CMS integrations and collaboration with IT teams.
• Experience delivering CMS training and supporting business users.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
