Transformation Consultant - Procurement Focus

Your role

At Capgemini Invent, we help organizations achieve transformation by turning strategy into sustainable results. We seek a Transformation Consultant specializing in Procurement to deliver complex transformation projects for our clients.

This client-facing Consultant role requires 3–5 years of experience. Based on your background, you will either lead workstreams or support the Project Lead in transformation programs, including ERP implementations, process optimization, and operating model changes in procurement and supply chain.

Your tasks

• Initially support the Project Lead, progressing to independently managing or leading transformation workstreams in Procurement and/or Supply Chain
• Support planning, coordination and delivery of activities across project workstreams
• Contribute to process analysis, redesign and optimisation (e.g. source-to-pay, order-to-cash)
• Support ERP implementations and operating model changes in procurement and supply chain
• Apply project management and PMO practices to ensure structure and delivery discipline
• Prepare management materials, status updates and presentations
• Coordinate stakeholders across business and technology teams, often in international settings
• Support change and adoption activities in cooperation with change management and technology teams
• Facilitate workshops to drive alignment and decision-making
• Identify risks, dependencies and improvement opportunities within the project

Your profile

• 3–5 years of experience in transformation, consulting, project management or PMO roles
• Solid understanding of procurement and/or supply chain processes and their integration with ERP systems
• Hands-on experience in ERP implementation or process transformation projects
• Strong project management capabilities (waterfall, agile or hybrid)
• Consulting or advisory experience with direct client exposure
• Ability to structure complex topics and communicate clearly with senior stakeholders
• English at C1 level or higher for international project work
• Strong analytical skills combined with a pragmatic, delivery-oriented mindset
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments

Nice to have

• Experience with procurement platforms such as SAP/Ariba, Ivalua or Jagger
• German language skills at B2 level or higher
• Experience in global transformation programmes
• Strong facilitation skills
• Proficiency with tools such as Miro, Jira, MS Project, Teams and PowerPoint
