Summary

The Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner is responsible for delivering actionable results in a savings bank environment by formulating user stories and business cases. The role aims to enhance business processes within the bank while ensuring compliance and stakeholder alignment.

Main Responsibilities

• Create and prioritize user stories in close cooperation with specialist departments.
• Develop complete business cases, including cost-benefit analyses and decision templates.
• Manage stakeholders on both the specialist-department and IT sides.
• Coordinate with Finanz Informatik on requirements and feasibility.
• Ensure requirements are documented in a compliant manner, including SOC2 and ISO 27001.
• Identify AI potential within the assigned workstream.

Key Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in banking, finance, or insurance.
• Proven experience creating business cases, not only user stories.
• Experience with agile methods, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Fluent German at C1+ level.

Nice to Have

• Basic understanding of AI use cases in banking.
• Experience in a Sparkasse environment.
• Basic knowledge of SOC2 and ISO 27001 compliance.
• Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, or comparable tools.
