Windows Platform Engineer

The Windows Platform Team provides all versions of Windows Servers and Client OS, virtualized security products (RSA, AntiVirus), and Active Directory services for a mission-critical communication system.

As a team member, you will participate in the full software development cycle to develop and maintain solutions for Windows platforms, including automated system installation and configuration, system security updates, and AntiVirus software integration. The team works in an agile, self-organizing, hybrid working model. The technology supports governmental and commercial customers, including emergency services across Europe and an Armed Forces deployment in Europe.

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in Windows Server and Client architectures, with a proven track record of managing and troubleshooting complex enterprise environments
• Deep technical command of Active Directory and Windows security hardening, including designing and implementing robust identity management frameworks
• Proficiency in PowerShell engineering, including developing complex scripts and reusable modules to automate enterprise-scale Windows infrastructure and workflows
• Excellent English communication skills, including articulating technical strategies to stakeholders and producing high-quality architectural documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in networking protocols and services to design, optimize, and troubleshoot complex enterprise network architectures
• Linux administration and KVM virtualization proficiency to manage and integrate cross-platform workloads within a hybrid infrastructure
