Expert Data Engineer (f/m)

We are looking for an Expert Data Engineer with the following skills and capabilities:

• Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL
• Experience developing and maintaining ETL packages using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Experience with SQL Server Agent job scheduling and monitoring
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git
• Knowledge of the cloud-based data platform Snowflake
• Knowledge of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and dimensional modelling
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data extraction, transformation, and loading processes from multiple source systems
• Design, develop, and maintain complex stored procedures, functions, views, and SQL scripts to implement business rules and data transformation logic
• Implement data validation and data quality checks within ETL processes
• Manage change and deployment activities
• Perform database maintenance activities, including index and query optimization and performance tuning
