Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake)

Rate: max. 175 PLN/h net + VAT

Overview

We are seeking an Expert Data Engineer with robust technical skills and hands-on expertise in various data management practices. The ideal candidate will excel in Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL, with a proven record of developing and maintaining ETL solutions.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL packages using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Handle SQL Server Agent job scheduling and monitoring.
• Build and maintain data extraction, transformation, and loading processes from multiple source systems.
• Design, develop, and maintain complex stored procedures, functions, views, and SQL scripts.
• Implement data validation and quality checks within ETL processes.
• Manage change and deployment activities.
• Perform database maintenance activities, including index management and performance tuning.

Key Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Experience with SQL Server Agent job scheduling and monitoring.
• Experience in developing and maintaining ETL packages using SSIS.
• Knowledge of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and dimensional modelling.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of the Snowflake cloud-based data platform.

Nice to Have

• Experience with generative AI and machine learning.

Other Details

This position is based in Poland, specifically in Gdańsk. Proficiency in English is required.
