Data Engineer Middle

Itransition is looking for a talented Data Engineer willing to solve complex technical issues while developing high-quality software systems using modern technologies.

Requirements

• 2+ years with Python, including strong knowledge of data libraries: pandas, multiprocess, and Google Cloud SDK
• 2+ years of experience in ETL/ELT technologies, including REST API, GraphQL, and DBT, as well as data pipeline orchestration tools such as Airflow, Astronomer, and DBT Cloud
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake
• Problem-solving and root-cause analysis in live production systems
• Experience querying and transforming large volumes of data, including data quality and validation
• Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, BigQuery, and Snowflake
• Comfortable working with serialized data formats: JSON, AVRO, XML, and CSV, as well as compressed and encoded files
• Comfortable ingesting data using REST APIs and performing data transformations and loading/unloading techniques
• English proficiency sufficient to work in an international environment

Nice to have

• Ability to design and implement data pipelines over cloud architecture
• Experience with CI/CD deployments
• Experience with Git
