The Digital Transformation Unit operates a global data and analytics cloud platform supporting data and advanced analytics products.

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will enable and manage Azure Cloud Services on a globally scalable, distributed data, analytics, and AI platform. You will work with Data Engineers, Data Architects, Data Scientists, and Cloud Architects to identify required Azure services and implement features and changes using CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the platform roadmap with Cloud Architects; derive requirements for missing capabilities and participate in Azure service evaluations.
  • Plan, design, and enable Azure Cloud Platform and Databricks services based on requirements, security guidelines, and non-functional requirements including cost efficiency, scalability, and documentation.
  • Work with the platform operations team to implement and deploy changes.
  • Train the platform operations team to operate new features and provide required documentation.
  • Assess platform compliance and implement solutions to ensure operations follow compliance guidelines.
  • Work with technology, implementation, central cloud, network, security, and cybersecurity teams to resolve issues and follow best practices.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field.
  • 3–5 years of Microsoft Azure cloud development experience, including Infrastructure as Code.
  • Proficient knowledge of the Azure Data Platform Stack, including ML, Databricks, and Data Factory, and the Application Development Stack, including Container Apps and Web Apps.
  • Proficient knowledge of Azure network design, including Private Link, VPC setup, and Azure Firewall, as well as Azure authentication management.
  • Coding skills in PowerShell, Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Bicep, and Terraform.
  • Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, GitHub, and GitHub Actions experience.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Intercultural awareness, willingness to travel, and fluent written and spoken English.

Additional Preferred Knowledge

  • Knowledge of data modelling, data warehousing, data science, application development, Snowflake, and platform architecture.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Minimum monthly gross compensation: 20,240 PLN; final pay is determined by experience, qualifications, responsibility scope, and internal alignment.
  • Eligibility for variable pay components, including performance-based bonuses, according to the applicable employee group, role scope, and compensation structure.
