Senior AI Engineer

The minimum monthly gross compensation for this role is 20 240 PLN. Final pay is determined based on objective factors such as experience, qualifications, scope of responsibility, and internal alignment.

This position is eligible for variable pay components, such as performance-based bonuses, in accordance with the applicable employee group, role scope, and compensation structure.

Description

The Senior AI Engineer champions the architecture, development, and implementation of artificial intelligence solutions that address specific business problems. The role leverages extensive knowledge of large language models, machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and other AI technologies to solve complex business challenges and foster collaboration across the organization.

Tasks and Responsibilities

AI Solutions

• Lead the design and delivery of AI/ML and agentic systems solving complex business problems.
• Build and deploy scalable AI products aligned with business goals.
• Drive adoption of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) for ML/AI industrialization.
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of AI systems in production.

Data Engineering

• Design and oversee scalable data pipelines and architectures.
• Lead data ingestion, preprocessing, and transformation across hybrid environments.
• Implement data-quality, validation, and drift-detection processes.

Data Science

• Guide model development, evaluation, and optimization.
• Drive experimentation and continuous improvement to enhance model performance.

Integration & Deployment

• Integrate AI solutions into existing systems and workflows.
• Oversee production deployments, ensuring best practices and operational excellence.

Collaboration & Communication

• Maintain clear documentation of AI systems and processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to technical and business audiences.

Innovation & Leadership

• Mentor team members and support skill development.
• Stay up to date with AI trends and drive innovation.
• Conduct research to inform future AI initiatives.

Required

• MSc/PhD in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience as an AI/ML Engineer with proven delivery of AI systems
• Strong Python skills
• Knowledge of agentic frameworks, such as LangChain and crew.ai
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform and CloudFormation; Terraform with AWS preferred
• Experience with ML frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn
• Exposure to NLP, CV, and broader AI techniques
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and ML services such as SageMaker
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience in Agile environments

Preferred

• AI/ML/cloud certifications, such as AWS ML or Azure AI Engineer
