Senior AI Engineer

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Approach problems through experimentation and rapid prototyping.
• Identify appropriate datasets and drive annotation for machine learning techniques.
• Develop and maintain machine learning applications and products with relevant domain experts.
• Iteratively retrain developed models, run evaluation experiments collaboratively, and perform statistical analysis of results.
• Monitor state-of-the-art machine learning solutions, emerging technologies, and academic developments.
• Translate and communicate technical concepts and solutions to different stakeholders.

Key Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, or a related field.

Technical Skills

• Desired but not mandatory: expertise in the Scala programming language and Play Framework.
• Advanced Elasticsearch experience.
• Postgres or other relational database experience.
• Experience in content applications.
• Experience in microservices.
• Preferred: knowledge of AI techniques such as natural language processing, classification, clustering, optimization, and deep neural networks, including their mathematical foundations and real-world advantages and drawbacks.
• Knowledge of data structures, semantic extraction, and text representation in an NLP context.
• Preferred: proficiency in Python using OOP.
• Experience with Docker, Azure, GCP, and AWS.
• Experience creating APIs, including RESTful and asynchronous APIs.
• Familiarity with LLM concepts and applications is a plus.
• Ability to write clean, production-ready code.

Other Skills

• Fluency in English is required.
• Additional language skills are an asset.
