Business Development Representative

We are looking for a Business Development Representative for the UK Regional team, responsible for developing relationships within new logos and existing accounts. The role focuses on building relationships with IT and business decision-makers to provide solutions and deploy project teams.

What you will be doing

  • Focus on business development and account penetration.
  • Build relationships with Financial Services Director-, Managing Director-, and C-level executives; forge new relationships and qualify opportunities to deliver solutions.
  • Use business-development channels including outbound calls, email campaigns, invitations to events and roundtables, and inbound enquiries.
  • Identify and qualify opportunities across new clients using industry trends, client needs, and market themes to tailor the sales approach.
  • Take a self-sufficient approach to sales and business development, leveraging research, market trends, and platforms such as HubSpot to identify opportunities and drive engagement.
  • Own the sales cycle from prospecting to close, with autonomy to drive deals forward and exceed quota.
  • Win new business, grow key accounts, and build long-term, value-driven relationships.

What experience will you need?

  • 3+ years of business development experience from an IT, business, professional consulting, or recruitment firm.
  • Knowledge of IT, Financial Services, or Insurance.
  • Experience selling over the phone and via digital channels.
  • Strong track record of delivering against Sales and Business Development targets.
  • Ability to adopt best practices and embrace feedback.
  • High ambition and desire to progress quickly.
