Senior IT System Architect - CIAM

Key Responsibilities

  • Embrace enterprise architecture direction and standards.
  • Design and develop integrated process, application, data, and technology architecture solutions for business problems, aligned with enterprise architecture direction and standards.
  • Develop specifications for new products and services around the PING product, applications, and service offerings for CIAM processes.
  • Work closely with the Program Delivery Lead as part of the IT program transversal team.
  • Act as a transversal System Architect across CIAM streams: onboarding, authentication, authorization, and lifecycle.
  • Assess the compatibility and integration of products and services proposed as standards to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies.
  • Design architecture supporting the end-to-end CIAM platform strategy based on the PING product.
  • Support transversal architecture for efficient, scalable integration with other initiatives.
  • Evaluate new IT developments and evolving business requirements; recommend appropriate system alternatives or enhancements.
  • Perform technical planning, architecture development, and specification modifications.
  • Bridge business, security, architecture, and engineering through clear, actionable requirements.
  • Produce concise, executive-ready governance materials, including status, risks, and decisions.
  • Contribute to the System Architect Community of Practice and improve ways of working, delivery effectiveness, and consistency across teams.

Key Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of business operations, information landscapes, application platforms, and technical infrastructure.
  • Strong analytical capability and thorough understanding of system development and implementation processes.
  • Interpersonal skills to build alignment around strategies and proposed architecture solutions.
  • Understand long-term business needs and identify the technical, data, and application architectures needed to meet them.
  • Assess business operations, identify challenges and opportunities, and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into structured business-process, knowledge, technology, and organizational specifications that meet strategic and operational objectives.
  • Develop business cases and perform impact analysis while engaging stakeholders across business and IT.
  • Use judgment to develop or improve standards and translate IT strategies into operational plans.
  • Work with systems of varying complexity across functional and location boundaries; navigate change and uncertainty in business processes, strategies, and frameworks.
  • Improve IT architecture processes, including future-state blueprint definition, architecture guideline definition, and project definition.
  • Provide architecture guidance to senior IT management, IT project management, and application development stakeholders.
