Devops Engineer

Responsibilities

• Enable security patching across all environments.
• Ensure delivery quality to prevent implementation issues.
• Drive reliable and consistent automation of services.
• Make independent decisions and resolve advanced incidents in a timely manner.
• Execute changes and rollouts as quickly as possible.
• Verify completion of change resolutions with users.
• Troubleshoot issues across the full application stack, including applications and infrastructure.
• Propose innovative, creative improvements to everyday solutions.
• Document root cause analyses and troubleshooting steps to create and maintain shared knowledge artefacts.

Requirements

• Analytical mindset and self-driven approach.
• Ability to solve problems by writing scripts.
• Expertise in scripting, preferably shell scripting (Bash).
• Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes technologies (MKE).
• Solid understanding of DevOps and CI/CD principles.
• Solid Linux administration experience.
• Basic experience with CI/CD tools: version control systems (Git, Bitbucket) and automation servers (Bamboo).
• Basic experience with the Oracle stack: Database, WebLogic, and Oracle Service Bus.
• Excellent analysis and troubleshooting skills.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with software repository systems such as Sonatype Nexus and JFrog Artifactory.
• Working knowledge of Python.
• Hands-on experience with application monitoring tools.
• Basic knowledge of core enterprise infrastructure.
