Senior NetApp Storage Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support deployment and configuration of the new storage platform.
• Assist with solution design and technical documentation.
• Plan and execute file storage migration activities.
• Provide technical guidance for data inventory and cleanup initiatives.
• Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve storage-related issues.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, and security teams.
• Provide technical support for storage solution replacement.
• Support installation and configuration activities.
• Support documentation of solution design.
• Support data migration to the new platform.
• Provide technical support for unstructured data inventory and cleanup.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience with NetApp file storage solutions.
• Proficiency in NetApp storage (CIFS, NFS) in a MetroCluster setup.
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory.
• Experience with Distributed File System (DFS).
• Understanding of file share security, access rights, and cyber threat protection.
• Understanding of file share backup using NetBackup DNAS protocol.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure and solution architecture.
• Understanding of data center networking.
• Experience in disaster recovery scenarios.
• Experience in file storage migration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
• Very good command of spoken and written English.
