Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Join a 9-person Machine Learning team to build and refine NLP models and algorithms powering conversational AI products used globally. The role focuses on developing state-of-the-art AI solutions that deliver value to customers, including fine-tuning generative open-source models on proprietary data.

Responsibilities

• Work on Lyro, an advanced RAG AI Agent built on the latest Claude and Gemini models.
• Build conversational AI capabilities using custom tools, complex multi-step user-defined guidance, product access, company-policy access, and continuous learning from company data and conversations.

Projects You Could Work On

• Ticket-Optimized Lyro: Further develop Lyro for automated customer-support ticket handling and resolution.
• Lyro AI Bundle: Build AI-powered tools that help users configure, analyze, and get more out of Lyro.
• Multi-Agent Workflow Systems: Build agent orchestration for complex, step-by-step procedure execution with tracking and verification.
• Agentic Product Intelligence: Develop product search, comparison, and recommendation capabilities.
• Knowledge Base Management AI: Create ML systems to detect contradictions, identify outdated information, flag duplicates, and maintain knowledge quality at scale.
• AI Onboarding Assistant: Build an internal AI agent that helps users discover features and configure Lyro.
• Context Optimization Engine: Design systems that dynamically determine which data sources, guidelines, and tools an LLM should access based on conversation context, optimized for scale.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building end-to-end NLP and deep-learning models in production environments.
• Hands-on experience developing production systems that use LLMs, such as Claude, GPT, or Gemini, to interact with real users.
• Expert knowledge of Python.
• Hands-on experience with asynchronous Python and REST API services, including FastAPI or Flask.
• Understanding of ML concepts and experience evaluating, versioning, and managing models and prompts in production.
• Strong software-engineering skills and experience deploying models to production.
• Ongoing interest in the latest trends and publications in the field.
• Team-player mindset.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Additional Advantages

• Experience with PyTorch, Hugging Face, and common ML frameworks.
