independent Node.js developer (office based)

What Your Days Look Like

• Work in a small team of 2–5 people with regular, direct contact with clients or product owners.
• Receive problems firsthand and help define solutions without a project manager relaying messages.
• Build early-stage pilots quickly with validation in mind; when an idea proves valuable, shift focus to code quality and sustainability.
• Iterate on, develop, and sometimes maintain established products.
• Work with consistent autonomy, direct client contact, and close collaboration with teammates.

• Strong Node.js skills.
• Ability to work independently on a client project without daily direction, knowing when to ask for help and when to move forward.
• Clear communication with non-technical clients, including founders, domain experts, and product owners.
• Focus on delivering value rather than only shipping features, including recognizing when building less is the right solution.
