Vendor Management Analyst – Technology & Financial Services

Krakow-based opportunity with a hybrid work model of up to 3 remote days per week.

As a Vendor Management Analyst – Technology & Financial Services, you will support vendor lifecycle management within the Chief Technology Office in a highly regulated environment. You will help shape vendor strategies, optimize IT spend, and improve operational efficiency across technology functions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage IT spend approval processes for CTO functions; prepare and present weekly updates to senior stakeholders.
  • Coordinate vendor management analyses to support procurement and budget decisions.
  • Support daily vendor lifecycle activities, including data collection, benchmarking, and documentation of meetings and actions.
  • Maintain portfolio trackers and reporting tools, ensuring timely and accurate updates on renewals, RAID logs, and decision points.
  • Extract key contractual terms and identify gaps, risks, and remediation actions during contract reviews.
  • Partner with Operations and Finance teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and track benefits realization.
  • Ensure Run, Change, and Transformation budgets are in place; assist requestors with submission procedures.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment through close coordination and shared responsibility.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in vendor management, commercial management, procurement support, or similar roles within financial services or regulated sectors.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to structure ambiguous problems and produce clear, decision-ready insights.
  • Understanding of technology vendor landscapes and contractual constructs, including SLAs, licensing, and renewal clauses.
  • Experience supporting business-case development and benefits tracking.
  • Excellent stakeholder-management and communication skills, with confidence working across functions and seniority levels.
  • Strong attention to detail and governance discipline.
  • Financial awareness of cost drivers and budgeting principles.
  • Ability to work with data and reporting tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, or MI dashboards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification or experience in procurement, vendor management, or financial analysis.

Language

  • Fluent English with excellent command.

Eligibility

  • An existing legal right to work in Europe is required.
