Description

Lead the evolution, adoption and governance of a strategic enterprise AI platform that is live in production and positioned to scale across a large global organisation. The platform enables users to access and deploy AI-powered agents that perform tasks, support decision-making and drive productivity at scale.

Act as the CEO of the product, taking end-to-end ownership for its vision, adoption, governance, controls and measurable business value. Balance strategic leadership with deep technical understanding, influencing executive stakeholders while remaining close to product architecture, delivery and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Ownership

• Define, own and execute the product vision, strategy and roadmap.
• Lead the product through its full lifecycle, from strategy to adoption and continuous improvement.
• Evaluate current capabilities, identify new opportunities and drive future product evolution.
• Identify where AI can create value across business functions and establish priorities.
• Remain accountable for outcomes, user adoption and business value.

AI Governance, Risk & Controls

• Design and implement governance frameworks for enterprise AI usage.
• Ensure controls manage access, behaviour, compliance and data-security requirements.
• Define guardrails for restricted and sensitive information.
• Partner with risk, compliance and technology teams to ensure responsible, compliant AI deployment.
• Establish monitoring frameworks and ongoing governance processes for sustainable adoption.

Product Delivery & Architecture

• Oversee solution design, architecture and delivery activities.
• Work with engineering, architecture and technology teams to ensure successful execution.
• Guide deployment and ensure operational readiness across the organisation.
• Drive enhancements using user feedback, performance metrics and strategic objectives.
• Partner with a large engineering function to deliver enterprise-scale solutions.

User Adoption & Change Management

• Lead organisation-wide initiatives to maximise platform utilisation.
• Develop training, enablement and engagement strategies that build user confidence and capability.
• Build business cases demonstrating the value of AI solutions across multiple functions.
• Influence senior stakeholders to champion AI transformation.
• Drive behavioural change through communication and stakeholder engagement.

Executive Stakeholder Management

• Engage with senior executives, technology leadership and business stakeholders.
• Present product strategy, governance frameworks and adoption plans at executive and board level.
• Challenge and influence senior decision-makers through strategic thinking and detailed product knowledge.
• Serve as the key point of accountability for the platform's enterprise success.

Required Experience

• Significant experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager or similar leadership role in AI-focused environments.
• Proven ownership of enterprise-scale products from strategy through deployment and adoption.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies, AI governance and responsible AI frameworks.
• Experience defining product roadmaps and delivering technology products in complex organisations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and influence large cross-functional teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management, including engagement with executive and board-level audiences.
• Strong understanding of product development methodologies and delivery frameworks.
• Experience balancing strategic business objectives with technical implementation considerations.
• Ability to operate at executive and technical levels, moving between high-level strategy and detailed product discussions.

Desirable Experience

• Experience with Agentic AI solutions, AI assistants or enterprise AI platforms.
• Knowledge of Knowledge-Augmented Generation (KAG), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) or similar AI architectures.
• Experience designing AI governance, controls and compliance frameworks.
• Background in customer experience, user adoption or digital transformation programmes.
• Experience building training and enablement strategies for large user communities.
• Previous experience in highly regulated environments.
