Lead Java Developer

We are seeking a Lead Java Developer to drive the design, development, and delivery of high-quality software solutions, mentor team members, and champion engineering best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable Java-based applications.
• Drive the implementation and optimization of CI/CD pipelines.
• Leverage GitHub Copilot to enhance development efficiency and code quality.
• Apply strong problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges.
• Guide the team through architectural decisions and technical strategy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers to foster their technical growth.
• Review code and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Java development.
• Experience leading development teams and mentoring engineers.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools and practices.
• Familiarity with GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle complex technical issues.
• Background in FinTech.
• Capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Proficiency in English at a B2+ level.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Amazon Web Services, C++, and Python.
• Background in Infrastructure as Code development and maintenance.
• Familiarity with UNIX shell scripting.
