What you’ll do

• Ship production-ready code daily across systems powering the traveller journey, including claims, legal automation, global payouts, real-time flight-disruption protection, travel products, and partner APIs.
• Design and scale services for performance, uptime, and long-term maintainability.
• Improve internal developer velocity by contributing to tools, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.
• Influence architectural decisions and lead initiatives to modernize or optimize critical platform components.
• Mentor peers and drive engineering standards through code reviews, testing discipline, and documentation.

What sets you apart

• 3–5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Strong skills in at least one core technology: Ruby/Rails, Golang, Python, Node, React, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of relational databases; PostgreSQL preferred.
• Comfortable working across the full SDLC, from problem framing through deployment and production monitoring.
• Ownership mindset and ability to identify and solve problems proactively.
• Strong testing discipline across unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience in cloud-based environments, especially AWS.
• Clear communication, constructive feedback, and focus on outcomes.
