Description

We are looking for a SQL Server Data Migration Engineer to join a project for a US-based automotive client providing a CRM solution. The project covers data migration between CRM systems—both onboarding data from external solutions into the client's platform and exporting data to other CRM platforms. The role combines hands-on work with production data, large data volumes and support for implementation activities delivered to end customers.

Responsibilities

• Working with production data in a SQL Server environment
• Supporting and optimizing ETL/ELT processes
• Analyzing and optimizing SQL queries
• Monitoring and troubleshooting issues using SQL Server diagnostic tools
• Handling large data volumes across migration and export processes
• Supporting new implementation and launch activities as part of the Store Launch Team
• Maintaining a high level of quality and ownership of assigned tasks in a production environment

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience working with production data in SQL Server
• Experience working with large data volumes
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with SSMS
• Experience with SQL Server diagnostic tools (SQL Profiler, Extended Events)
• Ability to read query execution plans and optimize queries
• Experience working in production environments

Nice to have

• Experience in onboarding or migration projects
• Knowledge of Claude Code
• Grafana
• Python
