We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer / Test Automation Engineer to support the continued development of a complex product suite used in an asset lifecycle and investment decision environment. The platform supports business-critical processes by ensuring that assumptions, calculations, data, and reporting remain transparent, traceable, and reliable across multiple teams and projects.This role is focused on improving the testing approach, increasing automation coverage, and helping teams move towards more efficient in-sprint agile testing. You will work closely with developers, engineers, and product stakeholders to improve quality across releases and strengthen the automation and deployment process.About the roleYou will work with a set of digital products that include case management and orchestration capabilities, specialist tools for forecasting and cost estimation, data-driven components for market assumptions, and reporting/analytics layers.The role combines manual testing, automation, release quality, and CI/CD improvements. A strong understanding of complex business logic, financial calculations, or engineering-heavy applications will be valuable.Key responsibilitiesSupport the shift from waterfall-style testing towards in-sprint agile testing.Design, maintain, and execute manual and automated tests for web applications, APIs, integrations, and data-related scenarios.Work with developers and engineers to ensure quality is built into each release.Increase test coverage and reduce the number of repetitive manual test cases through automation.Build and improve automated testing across the software development lifecycle.Support improvements in the software release process through automation.Help set up environments and deployments for system and integration testing used by multiple teams.Contribute to pipeline standards that can be reused across projects.Validate the integrity of complex business logic, including financial calculations and engineering-related tools.Collaborate with product teams to ensure test strategies reflect real business and domain requirements.RequirementsExperience as a Manual and Automation Test Engineer, with hands-on automation experience across different stages of the SDLC.Experience creating automated tests for web applications and APIs.Practical knowledge of testing tools and frameworks such as:PlaywrightPostmanJMeterJUnit / NUnitExperience with CI/CD-related tools such as Azure DevOps and Git.Ability to understand and test complex applications with strong business and product context.Experience working closely with developers in agile delivery teams.Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.Ability to design automation strategies that support business-critical validation.Good communication skills and a proactive approach to improving quality.Nice to haveExperience testing applications involving complex calculations, financial logic, forecasting, cost estimation, or engineering domains.Experience building reusable test automation standards across multiple teams or products.Experience supporting release automation and deployment pipelines.Understanding of cloud environments and integration testing setups.Ability to apply domain knowledge to test design and automation logic.
