Senior Data Analyst

Description

Seeking a senior consultant with banking, infrastructure and data analysis experience to support the discovery and mapping of a bank’s critical technology landscape. Experience in regulated financial services is required; exposure to Private Banking and Wealth Management environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyse large volumes of infrastructure and configuration data from multiple internal sources.
• Perform data mining and data discovery activities to identify critical technology assets.
• Map Important Business Services (IBS) to their underlying Important IT Assets (IITA).
• Work closely with Enterprise Architecture and Infrastructure teams to validate technology dependencies.
• Produce detailed reporting and analysis using Excel and other analytical tooling.
• Identify systems requiring protection or isolation under regulatory scenarios.
• Support regulatory reporting and evidence production for Operational Resilience.
• Engage with senior business and technology stakeholders to validate findings.
• Ensure data quality, consistency and traceability across multiple technology domains.

Essential Skills

• Strong banking or financial services experience.
• Excellent understanding of infrastructure and enterprise technology landscapes.
• Experience with data architecture and data lineage.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
• Strong data mining and analytical capability.
• Experience working on Operational Resilience, Technology Risk or Regulatory Change programmes.
• Ability to understand relationships between business services, applications, infrastructure and technology assets.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
