This is a hands-on Principal-level position for someone who can design backend architecture, regularly contribute production code, and lead key technical decisions. You will have a real impact on the architecture, scalability, security, and quality of the product.

Requirements that must be met
- At least 7 years of commercial experience in production backend development
- Strong production experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS
- Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL, including query execution plans, indexing, transactions, and raw SQL when required, rather than relying exclusively on an ORM
- Experience with asynchronous and event-driven systems, including queues, retries, idempotency, and background job processing
- Strong understanding of security concepts, including OAuth 2.0, RBAC, ABAC, OWASP, audit logs, secrets management, and permission boundaries
- Experience with multitenant systems, data isolation, and Row-Level Security patterns
- Experience writing Architecture Decision Records and leading architectural decisions
- Practical experience with AI-assisted or agentic coding while maintaining strong control over code quality
- Strong ownership of backend architecture, databases, observability, and infrastructure
