How you will help

As a Director, Real World Data Insights you will provide exceptional healthcare data expertise throughout the contract/project lifecycle. You will translate client needs into data solutions, leveraging the largest healthcare data ecosystem in the US. Clients and colleagues will rely on your real world data and evidence expertise, strategic guidance, and consultative approach to maximize the value of healthcare data.

What you will do

  • Collaborate and consult with internal stakeholders on data assets supporting research questions
  • Leverage medical and pharmacy claims, EMR, lab, chargemaster, SDOH, and emerging data assets
  • Co-lead client discovery conversations related to real-world data strategy and study design
  • Translate complex methodologies into actionable guidance for stakeholders
  • Advise on the strengths and suitability of healthcare data assets
  • Develop and execute comprehensive data strategies for research and business needs
  • Guide clients in selecting and maximizing integrated data sources
  • Provide strategic insights beyond transactional data procurement
  • Host post-sale training sessions on effective healthcare data usage
  • Provide guidance on emerging data trends and analytic approaches
  • Prepare study presentations, feasibility assessments, and proposals
  • Identify project limitations and propose mitigation strategies
  • Develop project specifications, business rules, and requirements documents
  • Mine healthcare data assets using SQL or Python for unique insights

Required skills and experience

  • Master's degree in epidemiology, public health, public policy, statistics, math, health economics, life sciences, or clinical practice
  • 3+ years in a consultative client-facing role participating in RFI/RFP responses and client meetings
  • 5+ years designing and executing RWD, epidemiology, pharmacoepidemiology, HEOR, or RWE projects
  • Experience applying real-world healthcare data to life-science research questions
  • Proficiency in SQL or Python
  • Expertise with healthcare data types including claims, EMR, labs, and patient-reported outcomes
