About the Role

We are looking for an experienced IAM Engineer to own and evolve our Okta environment. You will be responsible for the full identity lifecycle, from HRIS-driven provisioning and access policy to Terraform-managed configuration and Workflows automation. This role sits at the intersection of security, infrastructure, and developer experience and is ideal for someone who prefers infrastructure as code over manual administration.

You will report to the Director of IT and work closely with the security, infrastructure, and compliance teams across factory locations.

What You Will Do

  • Own the Okta service end to end
  • Manage all Okta configuration through Terraform
  • Configure and maintain HRIS-as-master-of-record provisioning
  • Build and maintain Okta Workflows and API-based automation for access request routing, access reviews, onboarding, and offboarding orchestration
  • Support CMMC Level 2 requirements

What We Are Looking For

Required

  • 4+ years of hands-on IAM engineering experience with Okta as the primary platform
  • Familiarity with the Okta product portfolio and ability to map capabilities and roadmap to identity strategy
  • Experience managing Okta via Terraform with a GitOps change process
  • Experience building and maintaining HRIS-to-Okta integrations with Rippling or comparable systems
  • Hands-on experience with Okta Workflows for lifecycle automation and access orchestration
  • Experience with Okta Universal Sync
  • Solid understanding of SAML 2.0, OIDC/OAuth 2.0, SCIM, and modern MFA methods including FIDO2 and WebAuthn
  • Scripting and automation skills in Python or JavaScript/Node.js using the Okta Management SDK or REST API
  • Familiarity with identity security concepts including Zero Trust, least privilege, Conditional Access, SoD, and access certification
