Position Summary
The Thought Leadership Associate serves as a core contributor to the thought leadership program, supporting content creation, marketing operations, and business development initiatives. The role collaborates closely with internal subject matter experts and business teams to produce data-driven content and coordinate operational logistics.
The Associate will draft articles, manage projects, support presentations and webinars, and contribute to AI-driven workflow improvements.
Location
This position is available as a hybrid role based in Denver, Colorado, or fully remote within the Continental United States. Remote employees are expected to visit the Denver headquarters approximately three times annually. Up to 25% travel is required, including occasional international travel.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is between $90,000 and $100,000 depending on experience.
Primary Responsibilities
- Draft and edit articles, white papers, and thought leadership content
- Support development and production of data-driven studies and materials
- Refresh and update existing content to maintain relevance and accuracy
- Provide administrative and logistical support for team operations
- Assist with data collection logistics and incorporation of new data points
- Support educational content and M&A curriculum development
- Partner with Marketing to ensure quality and brand consistency
- Draft and review advertising copy and marketing materials
- Manage project timelines, workflows, and stakeholder coordination
- Coordinate webinar scheduling, logistics, and follow-up activities
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures for workflows
- Participate in trainings and support training delivery initiatives
- Coordinate presentation logistics and CLE accreditation support
- Respond to client and prospect inquiries related to thought leadership content
- Support AI adoption initiatives to improve efficiency and scalability
- Assist with the M&A internship program
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree required; Juris Doctor or advanced degree preferred
- At least 7 years of professional experience in legal practice, financial services, content development, or related industries
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience drafting and editing professional content
- Experience coordinating projects across multiple teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with AI and project management tools including Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, and Asana preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Job Description This is a platform role for someone who helps many product teams, not just one. Their job is to spot repeated frontend problems across the organization, turn them into shared design system and platform solutions, and make sure teams actually adopt them. They improve consistency, accessibility, and developer efficiency by building reusable foundations, guiding migrations, and scaling improvements through automation. Important: the position is available only under a standard contract of employment with 80% of tax deductible cost. What you’ll do Lead design system efforts as part of the frontend platform, building a shared UI foundation that scales across product teams Discover recurring needs and friction across product teams, and turn them into reusable components, tooling, and workflows Define and maintain shared standards, documentation, contribution models, and governance for UI consistency, accessibility, and long-term maintainability Drive alignment, adoption, and migrations across teams, helping replace local patterns with shared solutions Build AI-assisted automations and agentic workflows that help scale platform improvements, reduce manual effort, and improve consistency across teams Qualifications: Must have qualifications: Experience building or evolving design systems, shared UI foundations, or frontend platforms used by multiple teams Experience influencing frontend architecture, standards, or technical decisions beyond a single team Strong hands-on experience building production frontend applications with modern web technologies Strong collaboration skills and experience working closely with Engineering and Design partners Senior-level experience, typically 5+ years in software engineering, with a track record of driving cross-team technical work Nice to have qualifications: Experience with Web Components, ideally Lit Experience working across Angular environments Experience with monorepos, microfrontends, or shared frontend tooling Experience with inner source or platform engineering ways of working Experience building AI-assisted automations or agentic workflows that improve platform work at scale Benefits: We support 100% remote work with Wi-Fi reimbursement and an additional stipend for the equipment (the MacBook laptop is provided by us) Unlimited vacation days (yes - it's really unlimited) Private Medical Care for you and your dependents (Luxmed) Wellness Programme (Multisport Card and even more) Company wide shutdowns in August and around Christmas Additional information SmartRecruiters is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
