Position Summary

The Platform Engineering team is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to help build and scale an internal data platform. This platform ensures software development and analytics teams have governed, secure access to critical data. The role drives design, development, and implementation of data platforms, ensuring security, resiliency, availability, and self-service automation.

Location: Fully remote within the Continental United States, with in-person visits to the Denver headquarters approximately three times per year.

Compensation: $145k–$160k depending on experience.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance, security, and regulatory requirements are met
  • Design and build scalable data platform capabilities with automation
  • Implement tools and processes for governed, extensible data consumption
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship on data platform adoption
  • Support delivery of data platform services organization-wide

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of SQL experience and strong relational database knowledge
