Western Door Federal is seeking a Senior Program Manager responsible for overseeing teams supporting more than 7,000 chaplain-led events worldwide for the U.S. Army Chief of Chaplains' Building Strong & Ready Teams (BSRT) / Strong Bonds program.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead for all contract activities and tasks, including those assigned and/or delegated to task team leads, individual contributors, partners, and vendors.
  • Understand complex technical and program requirements for the full lifecycle of events and develop plans, policies, procedures, resource plans, schedules, and budgets to meet requirements.
  • Organize, direct, and manage team members and contract support functions for multiple and complex interrelated project administration and event planning tasks.
  • Assign, delegate, and monitor task progress to completion and provide status updates as required.
  • Ensure team members understand requirements and provide resources, training, and support to ensure successful task completion and quality performance.
  • Maintain frequent communication with government customers, Unit Ministry Teams, event leaders, program administrators, participants, stakeholders, and senior leadership.
  • Identify and document short-term and long-term risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Recommend alternative policies, procedures, approaches, and documentation for government consideration and approval.
  • Lead and participate in customer and internal meetings.
  • Prepare and submit required deliverables, reports, status updates, and contract documents.
  • Ensure work products meet customer and company quality standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Hospitality, Events Planning, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience for teams of 20+ employees.
  • Minimum 3 years managing event or meeting planners, training coordinators, and/or logistics specialists in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Proven background in large-scale, multi-location federal government event, meeting, conference, and/or training program logistics.
  • Must obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Level Clearance.
