Great Waters Federal is seeking to hire an IT Governance Analyst for the National Capital Region or for remote placement. The individual selected will be responsible for ensuring that the agency's IT operations, strategies, and investments are aligned with broader business objectives, while effectively managing risk and maintaining compliance standards.
Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support the execution and documentation of IT governance processes, including preparing meeting materials, capturing minutes, and tracking action items for governance boards.
- Assist in compiling compliance records, updating roadmaps, and coordinating communications across teams.
- Contribute to review and refinement efforts for policies, procedures, and governance documentation, supporting organizational transparency and continuous process improvement.
- Support the transformation and operations of IT Governance.
- Work with IT Governance Team to refine and enhance IT Governance Board (ITGB) strategy, processes and activities.
- Work with IT Governance Team to update and Integrate CR processes and procedures with broader IT Governance.
- Assist with redesigning the Architecture Review Board (ARB) and implement automation.
- Work with IT Governance Team to refresh DMCC processes in conjunction with new IT governance.
- Act as the bridge between technical IT team and leadership, creating frameworks to ensure technology is used efficiently, securely, and ethically.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology related field plus two (2) years of professional IT experience.
- Must be able to successfully complete, pass, and maintain a public trust investigation.
- Proficiency in the comprehension and application of industry standards and best practice data governance and data management theories, principles, practices, and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities.
- 2+ years' experience in data governance, data analysis, data management, preferably in a large enterprise environment.
- Proficiency in the comprehension and application of industry standards and best practice data governance and data management theories, principles, practices, and methodologies.
