It consists of a base salary plus the opportunity for quarterly profit sharing after one year of employment. Hours of Operation Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM + On Call Hours Responsibilities - Book, track, and close loads to ensure timely delivery. - Negotiate load pricing and work to reduce our overall cost per mile. - Confirm carrier capabilities before confirming loads, including trailer length and weight capacity, height restrictions, etc. - Help reduce days to return, which will entail phone calls, text messages, and email communication with brokers, drivers, and end-users receiving the freight. - Work closely with sales and our logistics department to allocate resources appropriately for delivery and return freight. - Ensure quick responses and excellent customer service. - Communicate to the sales team via email about any delivery or pick-up delays. - Generate transport orders in PTR's transportation booking system (Fleetwave). - Assist AP with reconciling weekly transportation purchase orders. - Provide occasional after-hours support due to breakdowns or issues at pickup or delivery.
