Requirements

  • 5–7 years of hands-on experience as a Jira Administrator and/or Developer.

  • Strong knowledge of Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence (Cloud and/or Data Center).

  • Proven experience designing complex Jira workflows, permission schemes, and screen configurations.

  • Experience working with Jira REST APIs and webhooks for custom integrations.

  • Hands-on experience developing and deploying Jira plugins and custom gadgets.

  • Strong knowledge of JQL (Jira Query Language) for advanced reporting and dashboard creation.

  • Familiarity with XML, JSON, and REST API concepts.

  • Experience with Atlassian Marketplace plugin evaluation and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

  • Gather business requirements and translate them into optimized Jira and Confluence configurations.

  • Create and manage Jira projects, issue types, screens, workflows, permission schemes, and notification schemes.

  • Design and implement Jira workflows and screen schemes for complex, high-impact initiatives.

  • Evaluate, test, install, and configure Jira and Confluence plugins; manage licensing requirements.

  • Support end-users across the organization with Jira and Confluence usage and best practices.

  • Leverage Jira APIs and webhooks to build integrations with external tools and automate workflows.

  • Develop and maintain custom XML-based Jira gadgets and dashboard components.

  • Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and queries (JQL) tailored to team and leadership needs.
